West Monroe is seeking Data and Analytics Interns to join our Technology & Experience (TechEx) Practice. As businesses accumulate vast amounts of data, the challenge lies in extracting actionable insights that drive growth and operational efficiency. Our Data and Analytics Interns play a crucial role in helping clients unlock the full potential of their data through advanced analytics, data science, and data engineering.
As a Data and Analytics Intern, you will combine business acumen with technical problem-solving skills to deliver impactful solutions. The role requires an understanding of business processes, data analysis capabilities and proficiency in data structures, querying, and programming languages like Python or R.
Your Role as a Data and Analytics Intern
Functional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with client executives and team members to understand organizational needs and recommend appropriate data driven solutions
Work closely with West Monroe project team members to deliver valuable outcomes
Initiate and complete project tasks under management guidance
Evaluate and document client business processes and requirements
Develop and test investment hypotheses using data science methodologies to drive actionable insights
Assist in the creation of detailed business cases and strategic recommendations
Technical Responsibilities:
Utilize database development and scripting skills (SQL, Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis
Perform end-to-end data science workflow, from data ingestion and wrangling to analysis and visualization
Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualization tools using platforms like Tableau and Power BI
Develop and implement data management, integration, and data science tools, including ETL processes and machine learning models
Conduct fit-gap analysis between application functionality and client requirements
Internal Responsibilities:
Actively participate in West Monroe’s culture and social events
Expand your knowledge of data science, analytics, and engineering methodologies by participating in competency teams and attending learning sessions

Essential Qualifications
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree, expected to graduate between Dec 2025 - Jul 2026
Intern candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., OPT, H-1B visa, TN, etc.)
Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Interns must live within 50 miles of their office throughout their internship. Our culture emphasizes team collaboration and a hybrid work model.
Ability to travel Monday – Thursday (weekly) up to 50%. West Monroe covers travel expenses
