What you’ll do: Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Customer Marketing Location: Newtown Square, PA (Hybrid) Expected Start July 2025 Duration: 12 Months Schedule: 40 HR/week The Customer Marketing Intern for the US SMB Client Marketing team at SAP Concur will work closely with marketing managers and cross-functional partners to support and optimize key marketing initiatives aimed at engaging and retaining SMB customers. This is a hands-on role with real deliverables tied to active programs that impact customer satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue growth Execution & Optimization Assist in the execution of customer marketing campaigns, including email nurtures and customer webinars. Help manage logistics and deliverables for webinars, such as speaker coordination, audience engagement tactics, and follow-up communications. Contribute to the maintenance and updates of customer campaign calendars and content plans Reporting & Enablement Contribute to monthly performance reporting, helping to track key metrics such as email engagement, webinar attendance, and campaign ROI. Help maintain and organize the team’s SharePoint page, ensuring materials are up-to-date and accessible to cross-functional stakeholders. Assist in building enablement materials, such as campaign summaries and performance insights, for internal sharing and alignment Advocacy & Customer Opportunities Provide project management support for the SMB advocacy and customer reference program, including tracking participant onboarding, content deliverables (e.g., case studies, testimonials), and program expansion efforts. Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales teams to identify potential customer advocates and support the referral process into advocacy channels. Help coordinate internal communications to ensure alignment on advocacy efforts and success stories that can be leveraged across campaigns. This internship delivers real business value by advancing core customer marketing objectives that directly impact SAP Concur’s success in the SMB market. The intern will work on high-priority campaigns and programs that influence customer engagement, adoption, retention, and expansion. Execution & Optimization By supporting the timely execution of campaigns and webinars, the intern helps to support consistent customer touchpoints that deliver value and reinforce product benefits—directly supporting retention and upsell strategies Reporting & Enablement Accurate, timely reporting improves decision-making and campaign effectiveness, while a well-maintained SharePoint and stakeholder resources enhance cross-functional alignment and speed to market Advocacy & Stakeholder Collaboration Strengthening the customer advocacy pipeline increases SAP Concur’s ability to showcase satisfied clients, which supports sales enablement and brand trust—ultimately accelerating new business and reinforcing loyalty among current customers. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field. Graduating Seniors/2nd Year Masters highly desirable • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program. Desired skills / experience to be successful in this role: Previous internships or work experience during college pertaining to marketing would be ideal.
